Pulse Publishing launches with our first book already hitting the market. An anthology conceived and edited by Jennifer Brozek, A Secret Guide To Fighting Elder Gods; a young-adult viewpoint on the Cthulhu mythos originally created by H.P. Lovecraft. Showcasing work by Seanan Mcguire and Jonathan Maberry (among many others!), this book is instantly available in ebook form on all platforms as well as a POD print edition for those who still love the feel of a real book in their hands.
Over the coming weeks and months, expect to see several new genre- and media-related projects join A Secret Guide. A second anthology, set in the universe of the landmark “4X” strategy game Master of Orion. Joint ventures with Catalyst Game Labs to create both mass-market and limited edition works for the best-selling worlds of BattleTech and Shadowrun. And a new Fantasy Quarterly magazine combining new voices with masters of the field.
This is the brilliant opportunity of the new publishing landscape. Writers (and publishers) need no longer be contained by narrow genre expectations or Big Publishing marketing plans. We can attempt projects small and large. We can react in real time to the demands of our reading public. We can bend genres, rip up the calendar, and further blur the lines between creation and commerce.

Pulse Publishing is a new amalgamation of publishers, editors, and writers with over sixty combined years of experience in the publishing industry.
